Community Inclusion & Citizenship
We believe that our young people should be prepared for the wider world through as many experiences as possible so have developed a strong community and citizenship curriculum that is reviewed yearly to ensure it is fit for purpose and meets the current trends within the world. Our primary aim through this is to ensure our young people are able to independently make safe choices when they leave Woodlands.
We have built strong community links within Coleshill and our students have ample opportunities to visit these through other parts of the curriculum so they have the confidence to be able to access community service when they leave school.
We also provide a 3 year plan for citizenship;
